I posted this review on Goodreads Sunday 8th March.

An absolute delight of a book.

I wasn't originally going to purchase this and then someone told me the Poems in the book were uplifting.

I have to agree, the introductions speak of the history and context in which the Death Poems are written.

Some are written just a few hours before their death, some happen to be the last poem a person wrote.

The poems are written by Buddhist monks and mostly about Nature, whether it is the Moon, rivers running, flowers blooming.

Each poem gives you the name of the person, the day they died and an explanation whether brief or in-depth.

Published by tuttlepublishing it is a worthy addition to my library and I will constantly dip in and out of it.
